Sims 3

I recently picked up Sims3. I knew about what to except because I have played a little bit of Sims2.

This is really a great game. It seems like it is easier to do the tasks that are needed in an everyday sims life, especially not having to go to the bathroom every 5mins.

I just want to play the game and see what it does. That is enough challenge for me so I found a nifty little cheat and walla I'm reach. My main Sim Alex works at the hospital and is a partner in the local dinner. The money does not matter to me cause I like watching all the interactions and charter motions. Alex has expaned his house in preparation for a family. Its a nice two story I built on the existing house. Then I kinda cheated again. I made his wife with traits that would put them together faster, moved her and her twin sister (different traits) in next door. Alex meets Lissa (future wife) and sis Kaylee.

Well as predicted Alex and Lissa hit it off and along comes baby Jenny Kay. Shes grown a little now and is in the toddler stage.

I just can't believe all those animations they have in there for the different things. Playing the guitar, Foss ball, Play catch. Mom gets in floor with baby to play and read, put baby to bed and they give her a kiss. Great stuff. You should see the family teaching Jenny Kay to walk. I have to much fun with the family and have problems with keeping the friends, but that's not a big concern of mine.

I have turned ageing off because I want my sims to be able to learn a lot of the different things like cooking, music, writer, and art to name a few. The collecting thing is a nice addition to. So far I have a few butterflies and two Gems.

I also like all the things you can buy in game or download from the Internet. All those nice clothes and stuff for the house. I wish they had a more varied toddler clothes. Which brings me to what would I liked added to the game. While if you go on the Sims3 Forums they've got all kinds of things listed. I myself wouldn't mind the following: skate board for kids, scooter, motorcycle, pool table, ping pong, other musical instruments that even the Child can use and, a Pet (no control by user) besides a fish in a bowel,

Well that's about it. I've got to go and play my sims. This is to addicting.

Crysis War

Lately I've been playing Crysis War. Yes I know I'm behind the times, but that's were I am today. Just wait till MWLL is out. War is an online mulitplayer first person shooter. At first look it is better then the Battlefield series. This game is a cross between Battlefield and Halo. Not as fast passed as Halo, but faster then Battlefield. You are not stock in classes with limited weapons but can run around and pickup what you can find. This game has several different map types. 1. the instant action - you against the world, 2. Team instant action - team vs team, 3. Power Struggle - It's like capture the flag.

I prefer the team instant action. It allows you to work with others if you find the right group of people. Otherwise this plays like a bunch of people how cant shoot each other randomly attracting the other group who cant shoot each other. I like Battelfield 2 because you are forced to work in squads. The Power Struggle maps are very large and you have to know where you are going to capture the bunker or facility your after. Needless to say my skill is not the best in any of these game types, but I stink in Instant action.

Dark Oribit Browser Game

I found this neat Browser game. It is called DarkOrbit.

This is a space mining/combat game. They give you this cute little ship and send you out on quests so you can get credits to buy bigger ships and better weapons. This is a multiplayer game and there will be people from all around flying ships.

Make sure you get in a clan as soon as possible. It will set you back 50,000 credits, but will be worth it in the long run. I believe you will be safe as long as you stay in the neutral zone and do attack more then one NPC at a time. Keep an eye on the damage cause even if you still have shields the amour takes damage. It does seem that attacking these NPCs is the fastest way to make credits.

There seems to be a pay portion to this game also. It looks to be in three levels. Each level gives you a special benefit like repairs or credits each month. I’m just doing the free thing.

Addictions

We all have addictions, some small and others large. Addictions include: Watching Sports, washing hands, blankees, shopping, drugs, drinking, over eating, Internet surfing and PC Gaming. Some good and some not so good. But in reality anything that consumes you and glues you to it is basically NOT good. I have read, everything you do should be taken in moderation. The first step for addiction is to admit you have one. The Second is to find a good counselor. Please seek help.

That said, I have one of my own addictions to share: PC Gaming. I play a variety of games, from shooters to Role play and Strategy. I get a new game and the wife says "I won't see you again for weeks". I will get stuck on one game until I'm burned out and have to switch to another. God forbid that I go to a Best Buy or Game Stop.

I've told myself starting in January, the only game I'm going to buy is Spore when it is out. Well, I'm one in the hole. I could not resist the discount software bin at Roses. I'll do better next time.
